Dr. Ignacio Giraldez brings expertise in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Business Innovation
Greenwood Village, Colorado – – zvelo, Inc., a global provider of contextual categorization and malicious website detection services, has announced the hiring of Dr. Ignacio Giraldez to the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Chief Scientist. Dr. Giraldez will play an integral part in defining the company’s strategic vision and product roadmap for its content and contextual categorization technologies.

Dr. Giraldez is the author of numerous research publications, and has participated as Principal Investigator in multiple research projects. He is also the founder of Knowledgeworks and Web Engineering S.L.U., a technological start-up where he developed software to gather customer intelligence information from the Internet.
Dr. Giraldez has developed his research career at Universidad Carlos III, Harvard University and Universidad Europea and holds a B.Sc. in Physics and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence.
