Surging demand for company’s zveloDB® accelerates expansion plans
Greenwood Village, Colorado – June 12, 2013 – zvelo, Inc., a leading provider of dynamic web content classification and URL database solutions for the OEM market, today announced plans to expand its operations, facilities and hiring due to record growth and surging demand for the company’s zveloDB and contextual content categorization offerings.
Averaging 30% quarterly growth over the last four years since the launch of the zveloDB URL database, the success and demand for additional services has enabled the company to accelerate its strategic plans by re-investing profits to add operational capacity, senior engineering expertise, as well as depth to its senior leadership team.
zvelo has recently completed an upgrade of its data center infrastructure to accommodate the more than doubling of URL query volumes over the past year. Additionally, zvelo will be adding several senior leadership positions in its Philippines office, as well as significantly expanding headcount within its engineering, analytics, and zveloLABS departments.
“We have been very pleased by the remarkable adoption of the zveloDB offering across the various target markets we serve,” stated Jeff Finn, zvelo’s CEO. “In particular, we are seeing explosive growth and demand for zveloDB in the big data analytics market and the ad-tech markets such as Real Time Bidding, Ad Attribution, Ad Analytics, Video Advertising, as well as Network Security. The business expansion plans we are announcing today are in response to the growth and demand from these markets, as well as adding expertise and capacity to launch several exciting new offerings in the coming months for which we believe we are uniquely positioned.”
