zvelo PH Team Spends the Day at Bahay Maria
Located inside an exclusive gated community of Bel-air, Makati, a house on Amapola street, fronting Rockwell Center and Powerplant Mall, is a home for young girls. This is the second visit to an orphanage done by zvelo PH this year.
Bahay Maria is a home for abandoned and surrendered young girls. It provides formal education for the children and teaches them to become God-loving, responsible children and model citizens. As the event start, every child went on their designated chairs and tables and the first activity started. For the first activity is to draw a thing or any symbol that will represent themselves. The goal of this activity is somehow to get-to-know every child.
For the last activity, every child is given a canvas drawstring bag with paint brushes and set of fabric paints for each table. The kids had so much fun playing with the paints. As they finished their work, each of them shows their uniqueness and creativity through these bags.
zvelo is proud to support the community and give back whenever possible. For the second time in 2018, the zvelo Philippines visited a local orphanage to spend the day with kids singing songs, making art, and sharing the day helping local youth.
The zvelo Data Quality team and managers in the Philippines would like to thank all of the volunteers and the Bahay maria Orphanage for the lasting memories and chance to help out!
