January 11th | National Human Trafficking Awareness Day
January 11 is recognized in the US as National Human Trafficking Awareness Day. At zvelo, our mission is to make the internet safer and more secure.
One of the ways we work to support that goal is by collaborating with organizations, like the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which exist to protect children from trafficking and exploitation. First hand, we work towards that goal by ensuring that websites featuring, promoting or distributing human trafficking content are quickly and accurate classified as such and blocked to protect our network of 600+ million users around the world.
